Upper Lachlan Shire Council is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Swimming Pool Attendants to provide lifeguard supervision and undertake operational and maintenance duties at Gunning and Crookwell Swimming Pools over the upcoming swimming season from 2 November 2019 up to 29 March 2020 (subject to weather) with an opportunity for work in future seasons.
Depending on suitable applicant’s availability, a maximum of 38 hours a week may be offered.
Applicants must be aged over 18, hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle, possess a current Pool Lifeguard Certificate or be willing to acquire, (Council may reimburse training fees), have completed a Working with Children Check and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
The position is Grade 3 Step Minimum $29.65 (includes casual loading). Weekend penalty rates also apply, in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Council’s salary system. Higher salary will be available for applicants demonstrating superior skills and experience.
