Media Officer – Permanent Full Time

Council is seeking a suitably qualified person for the position of Media Officer to promote a positive image of Upper Lachlan Shire Council to the residents, the ratepayers and the wider community. The position is based at the Crookwell Administration Office. The successful applicant will field media enquiries relating to Council operations and activities, plan, co-ordinate and deliver marketing and communications projects with a high degree of professionalism and initiative to promote a positive image of Upper Lachlan Shire Council and meet other internal and external client needs.         You will need to develop and undertake media and general communication strategies including corporate identity and branding, customer service and internal communications initiatives.

This is a full time position working up to 70 hours per 9 day fortnight. The position is a Grade 11 position with an offer of $1,233.65 up to $1,395.72 per week dependant on qualifications, knowledge and skills, in accordance with the Upper Lachlan Salary System and in line with the Local Government State Award

Library Assistant – Permanent Part Time

Council is seeking an enthusiastic and customer focused, permanent part-time Library Assistant for the Crookwell Library.  The successful applicant will be required to work 17 hours per fortnight, including alternate Saturday morning shifts.  Additional hours will include the relief of other library staff at the Crookwell & Gunning Library as required. Reporting to the Manager of Library Services, this position will commence at Grade 3 Step Minimum $25.70 per hour plus a 25% penalty rate for weekend work.
