With the physical Gunning Arts Festival postponed to 2021, organisers have thought outside the box and will deliver an online Festival this year.
Organisers of the festival had applied for, and received funding from the Tackling Tough Times Together fund, made available from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal*.
A further $1,000 donation was made from Upper Lachlan Shire Council, but plans for the physical event were put on hold due to restrictions relating to COVID-19.
With a bit of lateral thinking, the Gunning Arts Festival will take the form of an online event this year. Still taking place on the original dates of 17th – 18th April, the festival team will create and upload short videos of the various exhibitions and displays to the Gunning Arts Festival website on the original date for the event.
