The 2020/2021 Gullen Range Wind Farm Community Fund Funding Round has delivered a total of $65,043 to five community groups.
The grants, assessed by the Gullen Range Wind Farm Community Fund Section 355 Committee, were endorsed by Councillors at the 15 October Ordinary Council Meeting. The projects they will assist include:
Kiamma Creek Landcare – Pat Cullen Reserve

Crookwell Services Men's Bowling Club
|Scoreboards on back greens||$6,699.00|
|Crookwell/Taralga Aged Care||Outdoor furniture||$8,607.40|
|Crookwell Potato Festival||Banner flags and marquees||$3,000.00|
|Bannister District Hall Association||Hall refurbishment||$38,137.50|
Upper Lachlan Shire Council Mayor and Committee Member John Stafford said the Fund provides grants to projects or initiatives that benefit the community within 10km of the wind farm.
“It is wonderful to see so many local community groups benefit from this funding,” Cr Stafford said.
