Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking feedback on the Draft Biala Windfarm Voluntary Planning Agreement between Council and Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Corporation Limited (Beijing Jingneng Clean Energy Corporation Limited is the owner of the project. Newtricity Developments Biala Pty Ltd is a subsidiary company).
The Draft Voluntary Planning Agreement sets out the Windfarm’s monetary contributions and obligations, including the terms of a community enhancement fund.
Copies of the Plan are available to view on Council’s website (www.upperlachlan.nsw.gov.au/council/other-public-documents), Council’s Offices in Crookwell and Gunning and at both Crookwell and Gunning libraries.
