Garden Waste Collection Period Finishes this Week

Upper Lachlan Shire Council wishes to remind the community that the kerbside Garden Waste Collection service period finishes this week.

Garden waste collections will resume at the start of spring, with the first collection in Gunning, Dalton, Breadalbane and Collector on Wednesday, 5 September 2019.

Mayoral Statement: Retirement of Upper Lachlan Shire Council’s General Manager John Bell

Upper Lachlan Shire Council has formally accepted the retirement of incumbent General Manager John Bell.

Mr Bell has advised that he will not be seeking renewal or reappointment of his contract, which expires on 18 February 2020. This will be his last day of work, at which point he will retire after 43 years in local government.
