Bridge Bypass Work Underway

Work is underway to alleviate the impact of temporary load limits currently in place on 12 timber bridges and 3 concrete bridges across the Shire.

As at Tuesday, 20 August 2019, the following progress has been made in relation to bypasses to be constructed at the following timber bridges:

Upper Lachlan Shire Council wishes to advise that today’s scheduled recycling collection in Crookwell has been delayed, due to last week’s truck breakdown.

Crookwell Landfill Converted to Waste Transfer Station

The Crookwell Landfill has been converted to a waste transfer station for a trial period.

Upper Lachlan Shire Council’s Acting General Manager Andrew Croke said the conversion brings the Crookwell Landfill in-line with industry best practice and other waste facilities across the Shire.
