Waste Collection Centres temporarily closed

The weather conditions have made the entrances to ULSC Waste Transfer Centres (Tips) unsafe. All Waste Transfer Centres in the Shire have been closed for today (Saturday 17 July) and will be reassessed for reopening.

Council names the Crookwell Memorial Oval building after Hockeyroo Emily Chalker

The Crookwell Memorial Oval Building has been officially named the Emily Chalker Sports Venue following a unanimous resolution of Council.

At their 15 July 2021 ordinary meeting, Council resolved to name the building after Hockeyroo Emily Chalker.
