ULSC Household Chemical Cleanout – 20 February 2022

It’s time to clean out your cupboards and sheds and dispose of household problem wastes, including paints, chemicals, batteries, gas bottles and more, for FREE.

Upper Lachlan Shire Council will help residents remove chemicals and hazardous wastes from their homes through the annual Household Chemical CleanOut.

The Cleanout will take place on Sunday 20 February, 2022 from 8am to 11am, at Todkill Park in Crookwell.

Residents can dispose of household quantities of the following household chemicals and items – up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms of a single item:

  • Cleaning Chemicals and Solvents
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Pool Chemicals
  • Pesticides and Herbicides
  • Paint
  • Acids and Alkalis
  • Gas Bottles
  • Batteries
  • Smoke detectors
  • Poisons
  • Motor Oils, Fuels and Fluids
  • Flourescent Globes and Tubes

This event is for household problem wastes only. Business-related and commercial quantities of chemicals are not accepted.

The Household Chemical CleanOut is supported by the NSW EPA and the Canberra Region Joint Organisation (CRJO).
