Multi Sports Day shirts have arrived – it’s time to register

The sports shirts for the Multi-Sport Come and Try Day have arrived and so has the sun!

The shirts, sponsored by Sports Australia and come in a variety of sizes, with 3 different colours to choose from.

Be quick though, only the first 300 participants registered for the Multi Sport Day will receive one of these sports shirt for free.

Pre-registration has closed so anyone who forgot to respond will need to re-register to secure their spot and free sports shirt.

Registration is easy – scan the QR Code below or the flyers around town.

Anyone who has already registered and secured their shirt can pick it up from the Upper Lachlan Shire Council Planning Counter located in Spring Street, Crookwell.

Multi-Sport Day will be held Saturday, 21 January 2023 at Lin Cooper Reserve and Todkill Park from 8am to 5.20pm. Registration will be at Lin Cooper Reserve from 8, with sport sessions kicking off at 9am.

Participants will enjoy a fun day rotating through 9 different individualised sport sessions run by quality coaches. Participants are grouped by age and anyone over 10 years can also attend a Hip Hop Parkour Workshop.

Director of Environment and Planning – Alex Waldron said that Multi-Sport “Come and Try” Day is set to be a great family day out.

“There will be music, a BBQ, food and drink stalls, prizes and a coffee cart, and Dauntless Movement crew will round off the day with a performance at 4.45pm,” she said.

“So get in quick to register for a free sports shirt while different colours and sizes are still available.”

Multi-Sport Day is funded by the NSW Government as part of the Summer Holiday Program and Reconnecting Regional Program, Sports Australia, and Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
