Upper Lachlan Shire Heritage Review

The adoption of Upper Lachlan Shire Heritage Review was deferred to a future Council meeting.

Building over Sewer Policy

Council adopted the Building over Sewer Policy.

Upper Lachlan Local Environmental Plan 2010 Land Use Tables

The planning proposal was endorsed by Council and forwarded to the Minister for Planning to be Gazetted in accordance with the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Council resolved to the Upper Lachlan Local Environmental Plan 2010 by deleting the existing land use tables from Part 2 Permitted and Prohibited development and replacing them with the tables contained within attachment 11 with the exception of RU2.

Council resolved to amend the Upper Lachlan Local Environmental Plan 2010 by deleting the existing land use tables from Part 2 Permitted and Prohibited development and replacing the RU2 tables contained within attachment 11.

Council delegated to the General Manager authority to implement the decision.

Update on Slope Stability work on Wombeyan Caves Road

Council resolved to proceed with the reconstruction of Wombeyan Caves Road as a matter of priority. Wombeyan Caves Road will be closed between Langs Road and the Wombeyan Caves Reserve during the Slope Rehabilitation Stability Works.

Code of Meeting Practice

Council in accordance with Section 362(1)(b), of the Local Government Act 1993, adopted the draft Code of Meeting Practice with amendments including all mandatory provisions and non-mandatory best practice provisions. Council resolved to provide a written response to all public submissions to the draft Code of Meeting Practice. The Code of Meeting Practice can be found on Council’s website and via this link(link is external).

Australia Day Committee – acceptance of members

Council resolved to write to Dianne Layden, Robert Cameron, John Shaw OAM, Noelene Cosgrove, Michael Coley, Elizabeth Newcombe, Carmel Hills, Katherine Johnson, Norman Fountain and Cheryl John accepting their application as new members of the Australia Day Section 355 Committee.

Notice of Motion – Goulburn-Crookwell Rail Trail

A point of order was raised by Cr Searl.

Mayor Kensit made a determination to upheld the motion of a point of order raised by Cr Searl as it is a direct negative motion to the resolution made on 21 June 2021 “Upper Lachlan Shire Council withdraw its support for the Goulburn to Crookwell rail trail to be established in the Upper Lachlan Government area”.

Lin Cooper – Award of Tenderer

Council awards the Tender for Construction of Lin Cooper Sports amenities and Change rooms, to Marathon Modular at a lump sum price of $1,140,220.02 (inclusive of GST).
