Concrete Bridges

Council has removed load limits on the following concrete bridges effective 5 pm Friday 13 September 2019. Some advisory signs may remain in place after the load limits are removed. New traffic control signs may remain in place to ensure public safety. The summary of investigations to date including the relevant engineering reports are attached below for each of the concrete bridges assessed to date.

Boorowa Rd -CR141 - Wheeo Creek Bridge

Council has conducted further tests on the load capacity of this bridge using resources from theTransport for NSW. Council has received a recommendation to remove the load limit. Council has introduced traffic measures including one heavy vehicle use at a time.

Boorowa Rd -CR142 -  Old Man Guyah Bridge

Load testing is completed to measure the load carrying capability of the bridge using resources from the Transport for NSW. Council has received a recommendation to remove the load limit at this bridge. Council has introduced traffic measures to improve safety for road users including one heavy vehicle use at a time.
