Applications now open: Community War Memorials Fund

Applications are now open for the Community War Memorials Fund (CWMF).

The CWMF provides grants of up to $10,000 for the repair, protection and conservation of existing local war memorials.

Update: Crookwell Library closure

Upper Lachlan Shire Council wishes to advise the community that Crookwell Library will reopen from 1.30pm today.

The Library had been closed from Thursday, 14 September 2017 for the installation of new carpet. The previous carpet sustained storm damage in February.

Funding boost for Kiamma Creek Bridge Replacement

Upper Lachlan Shire Council today welcomed an announcement by Member for Hume Angus Taylor that Council will receive $450,000 for the upgrade of Kiamma Creek Bridge under the Federal Government’s Bridges Renewal Program Round 3.

Phone line down – Crookwell Library

Council advises that the phone line will be down at Crookwell Library, during the installation of new carpet.

The Library will be closed for the carpet installation from today, until Tuesday, 19 September 2017 and will reopen at 1.30pm on Wednesday, 20 September 2017. The current carpet sustained storm damage in February.

Council joins in Footy Colours Day

Staff at Upper Lachlan Shire Council donned their footy jerseys and put team rivalry aside for a worthy cause this week.

As part of Footy Colours Day, staff hosted a morning tea at the Council Chambers Crookwell and Crookwell Works Depot, raising $220.
