Change of venue for Council meetings

Upper Lachlan Shire Council’s Ordinary Council Meetings will now be held in the Crookwell Memorial Hall.

Ordinary Council Meetings had previously been held in the Council Chambers Crookwell.

It follows a Notice of Motion moved by Cr Ron Cummins and seconded by Cr Darren O’Brien for Council Meetings to be held at the Crookwell Memorial Hall and for funds from Council’s Information and Technology Reserve to be used to update the IT infrastructure to facilitate the meetings.

The approximate cost is $12,000, which will include the installation of network cables, an ADSL connection, a wifi router, a data projector and screen and a laptop.

Ordinary Council Meetings will continue to be held at 6.00pm on the third Thursday of the month.
