The Crookwell Library Friends Garden and Christmas Book Sale

The Crookwell Friends of the Library will be holding a small book sale at the Crookwell Memorial Hall Foyer on Saturday, 11 November 2017 and Sunday, 12 November 2017 to coincide with the Crookwell Garden Festival weekend. Books for sale will be on the theme of gardening.

It is also an opportunity to get a start on your Christmas shopping with books for sale in near-new condition.

Author Talk - Jane Carter

Join Jane Carter at the library to hear her talk about her new novel Prodigal Daughter.

Crookwell Library, Tuesday 26th September, 5-6pm

Gunning Library, Friday 29th September, 12-1pm.

 

Beginning Bird Watching, School Holiday Program

Join Tony Saunders on a birdwatching walk around Gunning, starting at the Gunning Library and including a walk to Barbour Park.

Bring you binoculars, suitable walking shoes, wattle bottle, hat and suncreen.

Gunning Library, Friday 29th September 10am - 12:30pm.

Stained glass light catcher workshop @ Crookwell Library

Create a beautiful stained glass light catcher to hang in a window, as an ornament or ceiling dangler. There will be a range of mosaic patterns to choose from.

When: Thursday 28th September 2-3pm

Who: Ages 6+

Cost: $5 per child ($10 for families with more than two children)

Scrabble at Crookwell Library

Come and join the fun of the Crookwell Library Friends’ monthly Scrabble Afternoons. Scrabble is held in the Crookwell Library every FIRST TUESDAY of the month from 1pm, followed by afternoon tea. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

Please bring a gold coin donation for afternoon tea. No bookings are required.

 

 

 

Knitting at Gunning Library

The Gunning Library Knitting Circle is held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. All welcome. No bookings are required.

 

 

Storytime

The themed sessions run for approximately 45 minutes and consist of stories and an age relevant craft activity or creative play. Children from ages 0-5 years are welcome to attend Storytime. Storytime is free and no bookings are required.

Storytime is held at the Crookwell Library every Thursday at 11:30am during the school term.

Gunning Library at 10.45am every second Friday during the school term.

Storytime is not held during school holidays.
